THREE SUN DAYS
On a beautiful sunny day, Steve reflects on how he arrived at this successful moment in his life. He looks back on his childhood growing up in Disneyland, how he learned the pain of letting go, and the last time he saw his mother.
THE CARRIAGE DRIVER
Joe's watery blue eyes, stuck behind his thick rimmed glasses, gives away his alcoholism, the depth of his hurt and the strength of his armor.
One day a beautiful young woman comes to work at the stables, bringing hope and life back into Joe. It takes a lot to trust another person again. Joe finds the courage to proclaim that trust. He is willing to take that chance on the woman who made him able to feel love again.
IOWA MAGIC
Where two best friends from college learn to overcome the hurt they caused each other, for the greater good of their friendship. One of them can never leave Iowa and the other one wonders why life is always bringing her back to Iowa.
JAMAICA PLAIN
Roy is finally settling into a good relationship and the apartment where his girlfriend lives. So when her cat, Trudi, jumps out the window and climbs up a tree, he naturally has to go after her. As he clings to the tree branch for dear life, reaching for the cat, Roy looks down and sees what is going on across the street at the corner store. Then he really begins clinging for dear life.

As the orphan pickpocket lay dying in his arms, Leondelli is torn between sorrow and fear. The boy’s death now leaves Leondelli in possession of the treasure the orphan had just stolen. It won’t be long before they will be coming after him. Leondelli must move very quickly to save his own life.
THE RIGGER AND TEIGEN
(An excerpt from Nocturnal Run)
It is 1782 and a cantankerous rigger takes Teigen, a twelve-year-old apprentice, under his wing as they set sail from Liverpool to Savannah, Georgia during the heart of the Revolutionary War. They are carrying most precious cargo—one of the first thoroughbred racehorses being shipped to America. Little did Teigen know of what dangers he would have to go through to protect the lineage and legacy that was to become the American Thoroughbred Racehorse, nor the mysterious secret the rigger was keeping to himself.
THE LITTLE RED COTTAGE
A Connecticut career girl’s life abruptly stops when she loses her lucrative job in New York City. Cut from the herd and forsaken, she does not recognize herself as she no longer has her morning commute and no one to call on the phone. Forced to downsize, she moves to a town where she knows no one. She begins to piece together a new life with what she has to work with, rather than with what she thinks she wants and needs. Sometimes Life is best unimagined.
